The National Portrait Gallery houses a collection of portraits reflecting the breadth and complexity of Australian history and society. The building was designed by Johnson Pilton Walker in 2005, who won through an open international design competition.
Designcraft were pleased to supply some iconic chairs in to this Canberra iconic institution, the Series 7™ dining chairs and stools, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. The Series 7’s chairs and stools are located in the gallery and in-house cafeteria. The Series 7’s are used in corporate events, cocktail events or weddings hosted at the NPG.
