TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. QUOTES / PRICING
1.1. All quotations are valid for a period of 30 days from date of quotation unless otherwise specified.
1.2. Pricing in the quotation is (1) shown excluding GST, (2) with the GST component shown separately and (3) shown including GST.
1.3. Designcraft reserves the right to amend pricing or withdraw a quotation before order placement.
2.1. Designcraft will endeavour to meet the proposed and agreed lead times, subject to:
2.2. Any variations received after order placement that may affect lead time.
2.3. All anticipated lead times are from the date of designcraft receiving a signed Acceptance of Offer and any deposit requests.
2.4. Any lead time included in the quotation is indicative only and subject to change upon advice from our factory or suppliers.
2.5. Designcraft will not accept any liability or claim due to delays in the delivery of raw materials, fabrics or components. Or if any other unforeseen circumstances are to arise.
3.CONDITIONS OF SALE
3.1. An order will only proceed once designcraft has received a signed Acceptance of Offer from the authorised company representative or individual and is subject to site access.
3.2. To proceed with an order, provide acceptance through an official Purchase Order or by signing the Acceptance of Offer section.
3.3. Upon receipt of the Acceptance of Offer, the purchaser is deemed to have read and agreed to the designcraft terms and conditions.
3.4. Any variations, suspended orders or cancellations must be in writing and will only be recognised with the written consent of designcraft, and this may incur costly penalties.
3.5. Timbers and veneers are natural products, and a range of colour variation with each species is to be expected, for this reason, we cannot guarantee colour uniformity unless we are specifically requested to stain all items to match an approved sample.
4.1. To process your order designcraft require a 30% deposit, the receipt of which will enable our prompt processing. The balance is required COD - on the collection of goods from designcraft or before delivery
4.2. Fees may apply to overdue payments
4.3. Legal title of the goods shall remain with the vendor until designcraft have received payment in full.
5. PAYMENT OPTIONS
5.1. Electronic Funds Transfer: Designcraft’s account number as shown on the invoice; please add the invoice number to your payment description.
5.2. Please provide proof of payment if the payment is made 48 hours prior to collection.
5.3. Credit Card: MasterCard/Visa: 1.5% surcharge applies to all Credit Card transactions.

6.DELIVERY CANBERRA METROPOLITAN AREA ONLY
6.1. When included, the allowance is for a one-off delivery Monday – Friday during normal business hours unless otherwise stated.
6.2. In the event of the client requesting any changes to the delivery date or advising of a delivery delay designcraft may charge an additional fee for storage of goods.
6.3. Installation prices are based on free & clear access to space with all areas free & clear of existing furniture.
6.4. Any help required of Designcraft staff to move existing furniture not previously discussed will incur fees in the form of a variation to the existing order.
6.5. Split deliveries may attract an additional charge as will deliveries required out of normal business hours.
7.1. Installation pricing in this quote is based on Ground floor delivery or for above ground-level deliveries, access to a suitable lift.
7.2. Extra costs will be incurred if Designcraft has not been made aware of any access limitations before installation in the form of a variation to the existing order.
8.1. Designcraft offer a five (5) year structural warranty on all goods manufactured by designcraft, this warranty is subject to fair wear and tear of the product and does not cover misuse.
8.2. Specified product from other manufacturers but supplied by designcraft is subject to the warranty conditions offered by the product manufacturer.
8.3. Designcraft will pass on all third party warranties to the client.
9.1. If the customer cancels an order, then the customer forfeits their thirty percent (30%) deposit paid. If designcraft have incurred any additional charges relating to the cancelled order, these charges will also be payable by the customer.
9.2. Designcraft will not accept cancellations for custom items, special orders or upholstered items.
9.3. Designcraft will not accept cancellations for sale/clearance items.
9.4. Cancellation must be in writing. State tax invoice/deposit request number, product/s and reason for cancellation. Email cancellation to designcraft salesperson or firstname.lastname@example.org
10.1. Returns only accepted for faulty goods. All warranties are passed on to the customer, and an attempt to resolve/repair faults will be made in the first instance.
10.2. Designcraft will not accept the return if the goods were accepted or deemed acceptable by you.
10.3. Designcraft will not accept a return for "change of mind" unless we choose to do so at managements discretion.
