Walter Knoll were together again in Milan. This year they launched new products inspired by comfort and togetherness: Maaru Sofa, Temno Table & Ison Bench, all designed by Eoos.
During Milan Design Week, Walter Knoll and their trusted partner of 25 years, Eoos Design revealed for the first time the Maaru Sofa. Its beautiful rounded silhouette takes inspiration from the harmonious design of Japanese gardens.

Maaru is an expression of lifestyle - casual and free. Its form with its rounded, curved lines seem to wrap us up in a warm embrace. Touching softness, naturalness, harmony, and executed with accomplished upholstery expertise. Its name comes from the Japanese word for circle, Maru.

Walter Knoll’s temporary showroom in the Brera district of Milan, consciously designed by the Ippolito Fleitz Group, with sustainability in mind, resulted in an airy, ephemeral space. A beautiful floral installation by Studio de Pasquale complemented the interior design and set the stage for Walter Knoll’s presentation of new products, materials and colours.
The new colours and materials defined different zones within the Brera space inviting visitors to touch and explore while patterned carpets from Walter Knoll’s Legend of Carpets collection brought additional colour and texture in the room.
New Materials & Colours
A new marble has been added - Dover White and the fabric Safire in Soil, Sage, Champagne, Sky and Desert. There are the new colours Oyster and Cosy Grey in the Elen leather group. In fabrics, Walter Knoll have added Gaia in Topaz and Glint in Stone.
Temno Table. Design: EOOS
Sculptural strength: Temno Table is a fusion of architecture and sculpture. A table inspired by classical and modern sculpture, made of sensual, natural materials. Feigning effortlessness, the vertical column supports the solid wood tabletop. Temno is inspired from the Greek "temenos" for temple.

Ison Bench. Design: EOOS.
A new interpretation of the classic corner bench – Ison. Light, minimal, complex. The upholstered bench embraces the principle of modernity: less is more. It can be freestanding and radiates lightness. As a corner bench, sofa bench, bench for dining – for working and living. Ison is Japanese for legacy.
