Taking inspiration from the future – mobile communities exploring uncharted waters, where the journey is as important as the destination DRS created environments that are theatrical, unexpected and forward looking using high quality materials and a bold narrative to take the passenger on a series of unexpected adventures.

Manzoni is located on Via Manzoni right near the Duomo in central Milan. It is more than a restaurant. It’s an experimental space, a theatrical backdrop for the best of Italian food and British design expressed in a Restaurant, Showroom & Shop. Design Research Studio collaborated with JLK Design Studio to build a space that allows visitors to experience multiple atmospheres, with each room exploring its own narrative and showcasing the latest designs by Tom Dixon. Manzoni opened in 2019 to coincide with Milan Design Week, providing a ‘permanent exhibition’ where people are able to experience Tom Dixon’s collections in an active context.
