Anagram Sofa, by Vitra
'Anagram lives up to its name: you can continually rearrange the individual components to create different stories and situations.'
Anagram is more than just a sofa: it is a family made up of a few modules and elements that can be used to quickly respond to the needs of the moment as well as major life changes.
The modules are designed as islands that—thanks to an ingenious click mechanism—can be combined with other modules on all four sides and fitted with elements such as backrests, side panels and attachable tables. This enables countless configurations, from a classic L-shaped sofa or small reading nook to a practical sleeping area for guests, from a flat island-like meeting point in the centre of the room or formal waiting area to an S-shaped configuration promoting communication or a cosy retreat and many other possibilities.
Slow Sofa by Vitra
The Slow Chair developed by Vitra together with designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec in 2006 has since established itself as a Vitra classic. Vitra has now created another variant of the iconic armchair and also added the Slow Sofa.
With its distinctive aesthetic, the smallest of Vitra's sofas comfortably accommodates two people while integrating seamlessly into modern interiors or adding a contemporary touch to classic settings. The design uses the principle of a textile sling cover fitted precisely over a tubular steel frame. This creates a sink-in effect with just the right amount of tension to ensure appealing comfort, especially when supplemented with loose cushions. The Slow Sofa transforms interiors with its form, its presence and the comfort it inspires, adding colour and feeling to any setting.
Molamisa Sofa by Walter Knoll
Relaxed and playful without ever losing its form, Molamisa brings people together – for meaningful conversations, hearty laughter or quiet moments of relaxation. Playfulness meets clean lines, softness meets precision.
Radiating warmth and sympathy, Molamisa gently embraces, welcoming those who sit and enveloping them in an unparalleled softness. Geometric forms, subtly curved surfaces and adjustable backrests come together in perfect harmony, creating a feeling of home. With a gentle press or light pull, the backrests can be easily repositioned: upright for lively conversations, reclined for moments of relaxation.
Hi Lo Modular Sofa by &Tradition
Described as “a sofa that explains itself to your body”, Anderssen & Voll’s design process for Hi Lo revolved around the concept of ease. Reflecting a duality between high comfort and low form, the generous proportions and prioritisation of cushioning and figure-hugging upholstery in the Hi Lo modules make for a modular sofa that envelopes the user. Carrying connotations of HiFi culture, Hi Lo was orientated to replicate the immersive feeling of listening to the right soundtrack in the right space. Available in various configurations that allow armchairs, L-shaped arrangements, and everything in between.
FAT Sofa by Tom Dixon
FAT Sofa is a modular system designed to prioritise proper comfort and adaptability. Confident from any angle, the FAT Sofa features generous proportions, integrated armrests, seamless upholstery, and rounded edges. Its low back and low profile give an almost floating appearance, while its fully foam design ensures maximum comfort. A standout piece in any setting and suitable for both domestic and commercial environments.
