In 2010, HOWE embarked on an ambitious project with design studio Pearson Lloyd. The challenging brief: to develop a circular plastic chair. They wanted to create a design that would be universal in application, incredibly long-lasting, and, most importantly, cradle-to-cradle at the end of its life. Together with Pearson Lloyd, they successfully engineered these great qualities into SixE.
All SixE versions are available with this new recycled shell. It doesn’t matter what frame is chosen – 4-leg, sled, barstool, swivel, or any other kind. All chairs can be produced with the use of recycled material.
With its ergonomic design, durable construction, and environmentally conscious materials, the SixE recycled shell is the perfect choice for those who value both form and function.
