70 years after the launch of the first FDB furniture collection, HAY is now relaunching 70 products from this collection of classical pieces. They are designed as to achieve functionality for society together with a timeless design. Designers of this collection include Poul M. Volther, Joergen Baekmark and Folke Paalsson.

It is believed that these timeless designs were created in a period of time where industrial furniture production was started which resulted in the many Danish furniture classics. The furniture is produced in solid Oak tree and in the colours: black, white, grey and coral red. Rolf Hay says, 'For me the FDB collection is something special, because it marks the beginning of a time, we today know as the great Danish design era.'
