The Grand Prix™ chair is a chair with graphic edge. It was introduced at the Designers’ Spring Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in 1957. Later that year, the chair was displayed at the Triennale in Milan where it received the Grand Prix, the finest distinction of the exhibition. The celebrated chair comes in both a steel or wood base and can be customised through a series of colours, wood types and upholstery.
Now available in 16 new colours and 7 base finishes!
MATERIALS
Shell: Pressure moulded veneer - 7 layers of inner veneer and 2 layers of outer veneer on front and back. Upholstery option available
Base: Steel tubes or Veneer
Shell: Coloured Ash or Lacquered in Pale Rose, Wild Rose, Paradise Orange, Venetial Red, Light Beige, True Yellow, Burnt Yellow, Blac, Midnight Blue, Dusk Blue, Lavender Blue, White, Evergreen, Olive Green, Deep Clay or Nice Grey. Please see attached product sheet for upholstery options.
Base:
Tube legs - Warm Graphite, Brown Bronze, Silver Grey, Black, White, Nine Grey or Chrome
