CH411 Peter's Table
- Product information
In 1944, when Wegner's good friend and colleague, Borge Mogensen fathered a son, it was difficult for Wegner to find an adequate christening gift due to the war. So he decided to make one himself. He went to work immediatey and sketched small-scale chairs, tables and benches. Some models were assembled with glue, others could be taken apart.
He finally decided to make a chair and table setting that could be assembled, without the use or requirement of tools. In this way, little Peter not only got a chair and table, but at the same time a toy, which he could assemble himself and take apart again. Carl Hansen & Son CH411 comes in either Beech unreated or Maple untreated. CH411 Peter's Table was designed by Hans Wegner in 1944 as a gift for a friend's son. The Peter's Table can be dismantled and stored away in an easy, compact manner
