To be the successful candidate you will:

  • Have a trade qualification in furniture/cabinetmaking/joinery
  • Have your own hand tools
  • Current drivers license
  • Experience working within workshop/joinery & on-site
  • Friendly and professional working manner
  • Demonstrate passion, a strong worth ethic & a hands-on approach to work

Excellent above award wages depending upon experience.

Optional interstate travel.

Office Administrator & Sales Support - Commercial

An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists for an organised Sales Support and Office Administrator working at the top end of the commercial furniture market.

In this full time position you will have the opportunity to work with a professional team in a busy and stimulating environment.  A strong customer focus is required, along with excellent personal presentation, organisational and verbal & written communication skills.  The ideal candidate will have well developed office administration skills and be able to maintain close working relationships with clients to ensure that orders are processed and delivery occurs within clients' deadlines. The duties include:

  • Communicating confidently and effectively with new and established client base
  • Sourcing of products according to the clients requirements
  • Preparing quotations for goods and services, orders, delivery and invoice management in response to clients requests
  • Ensuring that all office records in relation to purchases, delivery, invoicing and payment are maintained and up to date
  • Providing assistance to Sales staff for the preparation, compilation, presentation and delivery of tender responses
  • Undertake general office support and administration duties on request

To be successful you will have the following skills and attributes;

  • Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc) including Intermediate Microsoft Word & Excel skills
  • Previous experience in a fast paced sales and/or marketing environment
  • Accuracy and attention to detail essential
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of the MYOB accounting package is desirable
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a highly productive team

Sales experience, especially with commercial furniture is highly desirable, along with an interest in interior design.

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant, commensurate with experience and ability.
