Wim Rietveld
Dutch-born Wim Rietveld (1924-1985) was an industrial furniture designer. He studied Industrial Design at The Hague Academy in 1950, before becoming head of design at Gispen in 1953. In 1958, he started working at De Cirkel, a manufacturer of steel furniture that had merged with the Ahrend group in 1939. Here he met Friso Kramer, and together they developed a number of iconic design collaborations, including the Result Chair in 1958.

Muller Van Severen
Muller Van Severen was founded in 2011 by Belgian artist duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen. The couple has always been on an inspired quest for sculpturally interesting furniture objects, and their work sits somewhere between design and art, drawing on their passion for architecture and materials. They have won countless awards and collaborated with prestigious museums worldwide (such as Vitra Museum, Centre Pompidou and Musée des Arts Décoratifs Paris) and international galleries (Galerie Kreo, Side Gallery, Valerie Traan Gallery).
Julien Renault
French designer Julien Renault grew up near Paris before studying industrial design in ESAD Design & Art School in Reims, France, and ECAL in Switzerland. These two different educations have helped to form his approach to his work – a combination of objective and rational methods with artistic and personal freedom. Currently based from his studio in Brussels, Julien’s ability to find inspiration everywhere means he is not afraid to beautify the ordinary.
Daï Sugasawa
Japanese-born Daï Sugasawa draws his creativity from the power of different cultures.
Daï Sugasawa began his career as a designer for Christophe Pillet, before founding his own studio in Paris in 2010 and working on a freelance basis for Philippe Starck. Sugasawa feels a bond with nature and Asian culture in his work:
“My aim is to bring organic elements from nature into our living spaces and to connect us back to our original environment.
